Question 175

You are the administrator of the Contoso financial group. You are responsible for all storage accounts in Azure. You have a storage account called "Production workloads" and is currently making use of Local Redundant Storage. You have been tasked to ensure that the data stored in this storage account should be available when one Data Center goes down with minimal cost involved. What replication setting should you choose in the storage account to make this happen?

Zone Redundant Storage (ZRS) is correct as this will send a copy of your data to another data center in that region, this is the best option when considering the cost. Staying at LRS is incorrect as there are 3 copies of your data stored within the same data center when it goes down so does your data. GRS will work however its more expensive than ZRS, the same goes for RA-GRS.
